Honors College
Description
The Honors College offers students who meet the admission criteria special courses, activities, and a residence hall option. All Honors-eligible students will be notified about their Honors eligibility. Honors College students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and have diverse academic and social interests. Honors students' majors include all academic undergraduate degree programs offered by the University. What the students have in common is their desire for an innovative, challenging education that, while demanding, is often a lot of fun.
Admission Requirements
A high school graduate who wishes to be considered for the Honors College should be able to meet two of the following three criteria:
- a combined SAT score of at least 1200 (critical reading and math only) or an ACT score of 26 composite
- a score of 610 or more on the critical reading portion of the SAT or an ACT score of 27
- a high school grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
