Goizueta Scholarship

The Goizueta scholarship provides need-based scholarship assistance annually for Hispanic/Latino students whose families currenly reside in the United States.


  1. Hispanic/Latino lineage.
  2. Resident of the State of Georgia.
  3. Preference given to Carroll, Coweta, Haralson, Heard, or Paulding Counties.
  4. Demonstration of Financial Need verified by a FAFSA submitted to the UWG Financial Aid Office.
  5. Minimum High School GPA of 2.45 (Verified by UWG Admissions Office).
  6. Minimum SAT scores of 410 Math / 430 Verbal or ACT composite score of 17.
  7. Agree to participate in the Multicultural Achievement Program (MAP) and meet with a MAP counselor biweekly.

All students interested in applying for this scholarship should complete the GOIZUETA FOUNDATION SCHOLARS APPLICATION from the UWG Asmissions Scholarship Portal and be accepted to the University of West Georgia through the Admissions Office.
