USE OF AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR (AED)
Automated External Defibrillators are portable and designed to create an electric shock to a heart that has stopped beating
When responding to a person in cardiac arrest:
STAY WITH THE INDIVIDUAL!
CALL OUT FOR HELP!
• Call - or have someone call - University Police at 678-839-6000
• If someone is available to help - and they are trained in CPR -
assist as needed.
• If there is no one available to help, follow the instructions on the AED.
