Health Education:
Health Education from the University of West Georgia’s Health Services, is proactive in its approach of providing quality personal health education. New programs, guest speakers, activities, and marketing campaigns provide a multi-layered learning approach. Health Education meets annually to evaluate the unique demands of our ever changing student body. The Health Education portion of Health Services has been recognized locally, as well as nationally.
Most recently, Georgia Network Sexual Assault (GNESA) named UWG’s Sexual Violence Prevention Program as a model program for other campuses. Additionally, our “Stop Sexual Violence” poster series has received National recognition. Each year brings new challenges. We remain flexible within a structured learning environment so that, we may meet the ever changing needs of our students.
