Wednesday, September 16

8:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. - Homecoming Pageant
Campus Center Ballroom

The Homecoming Pageant is where all of the Homecoming Court Candidates are introduced and the top 10 women and top 10 men are revealed and have to answer a question on stage.  There is entertainment during the judges deliberation and then the Homecoming Court is announced and brought up on stage.  To find out the Homecoming King and Queen, attend the Football Game and at the half-time show the Homecoming King and Queen are announced and crowned!

Monday, September 21

5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. - Homecoming Kick-Off Dinner
Campus Center Ballroom

Help us kick off Homecoming Week 2015 with a big party at the Campus Center! 

The Homecoming Kick-Off Dinner will have entertainment, games, and most importantly, FREE FOOD! 

Doors open to the Ballroom at 5:00pm. 

Sponsored by the UWG Student Activities Council.

Tuesday, September 22

12 noon - Homecoming Banner Contest
Outside the UCC

Organizations have a chance to show their artistic talents during Homecoming week in the banner contest. Get your organization's artists together to make a banner to show your Homecoming spirit. Banners will be judged Tuesday, September 22 at 12 noon in front of the University Community Center (UCC). The banner entries will be judged on spirit, originality, creativity, and artistic talent.

Wednesday, September 23

12 noon-3:00 p.m. - Wear Red, Get Fed
Campus Center Patio

Come to the Campus Center Patio and show your Homecoming week support by wearing West Georgia red!

Then, we'll feed you! Simple as that!

Get your grub on with concession style food until it runs out!  Enjoy music and other activities and have a chance to win one of multiple homecoming t-shirts!

Thursday, September 24

12 noon - Sidewalk Chalk Contest
Outside the UCC

All groups are eligible to participate in this category and are urged to be as creative as possible in depicting the Homecoming theme. The contest will be judged on Thursday, September 24 at 12 noon in front of the University Community Center (UCC). The sidewalk entries will be judged on representation of the theme, creativity, originality, and spirit.

Friday, September 25

3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. - Campus Tours for United Voices Gospel Choir (UVGC) Alumni
Meet at UWG Admissions Office, Mandeville Hall

All United Voices Gospel Choir alumni are invited to see what's changed on campus during a tour provided by the UWG Admissions office.

6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. - United Voices Gospel Choir (UVGC) Alumni Meet and Greet
The Border Restaurant, 1210 Maple Street, Carrollton

This event serves as the initial meet and greet location for all UVGC members to catch up, grab dinner, and receive welcome information regarding the weekend.

Dutch treat; casual attire.

6:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m. - Wolves Capture The Square
The AMP at Adamson Square, Downtown Carrollton

Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community are invited to attend the university's largest gear-up celebration for Homecoming Day!

Have dinner at a restaurant on the Square and then join us at the AMP for the Pep Rally followed by a concert by the Velcro Pygmies, back by popular demand!

10:00 p.m.-midnight - United Voices Gospel Choir (UVGC) Alumni Capture the Flag
Love Valley

Join other UVGC alumni for an organization tradition in a game of Capture the Flag.

Saturday, September 26

Homecoming Tailgate
UWG Athletic Complex

Bring your tents, music, coolers, and food and celebrate with others before the game at the Homecoming game tailgate!

Wear your Wolves gear to show support for the team and check out other tailgates throughout the UWG Athletic Complex.

Please take note of the university's Tailgating Policies and Procedures prior to Homecoming to be aware of any regulations for your particular tailgate. 

7:30 a.m. - UWG Presidential 5K Run
Wolf Plaza, UWG Athletic Complex

Connecting campus to community, this 5K run will begin and end at Wolf Plaza at the UWG Athletic Complex while winding its way down the Carrollton Greenbelt section going through the university's campus.  The awards ceremony will be immediately following at the wolf statue.

All proceeds for this event will benefit the Friends of the Carrollton Greenbelt fund.

9:30 a.m.-10:15 a.m. - Alumni Pancake Breakfast
The Coliseum Atrium

Alumni and friends gather at The Coliseum Atrium for a pancake breakfast.

Viewing stands will be available outside the The Coliseum to guests who would like to watch the parade after breakfast.

10:00 a.m. - Homecoming Parade
Maple Street & West Georgia Drive

The annual Homecoming Parade features Greek and student organizations, residence halls, athletic teams, local businesses, and more showing off their school spirit based around the Homecoming theme!

Alumni are invited to gather outside The Coliseum after the President's Breakfast and Annual Meeting to watch the parade.  Alumni attending the Campus Radio Reunion at the Anthropology Building (former Geography Building) are invited to gather on the front campus lawn along Maple Street.  Parking will be available along Front Campus Drive.  Arrive early to avoid parade congestion.

The route will begin at the east entrance of campus on the corner of West Georgia Drive and Maple Street and go to the Greek Village on the north side of campus.Visit our Parade Route page for a map of the route and specific road closures to be aware of.

10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. - Campus Walking Tours
Leaving from The Coliseum

Take in the beauty of the ever-growing campus of West Georgia by going on a walking tour led by our own UWG Ambassadors.

Tours will start at the Coliseum.

10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. - Campus Radio Reunion & Studio Tours (WWGC / WUWG / The WOLF Internet Radio)
The WOLF Internet Radio Studios, Anthropology Building (former Geography Building)

campus radio reunion university of west ga homecoming 2015 All campus radio alumni from the days of WWGC / WUWG and The WOLF Internet Radio are invited to join us for a Campus Radio Reunion at The WOLF Studios on the first floor of the Anthropology Building (former Geography Building). 

Tours of the updated studios will be given and light refreshments will be served.

11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. - United Voices Gospel Choir (UVGC) Rehearsal
Humanities Building room 301

Choir rehearsal and opportunity to fellowship and sing with UVGC members again in preparation for choir ministry and worship through song at First Baptist Church on Sunday morning, September 27.

Casual attire - please wear your UVGC reunion t-shirt.

11:30 a.m. - Alumni Association Tailgate sponsored by The Southern Credit Union
UWG Athletic Complex

Attention: UWG Alumni and Friends: Look for the red alumni tent to enjoy a complimentary meal with all the fixings and have the chance to catch up with old friends, staff, and current students.

The WOLF Internet Radio will be broadcasting live from the Alumni Tailgate Zone as part of the Campus Radio Reunion and The Southern Credit Union will be there with details on our new alumni affinity credit card!

Games, prizes, and alumni gear will be given to guests and encourage your alumni friends to stop by and visit.

2:00 p.m. - West Georgia Wolves vs. Clark Atlanta Panthers
University Stadium

Homecoming culminates with your West Georgia Wolves taking on the Clark Atlanta Panthers at University Stadium!

The Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned during the halftime show and make sure to stay through the game to hear the overall Homecoming Spirit Competition winners announced!  A full list of winners will be available on Center for Student Involvement website following Homecoming.

6:00 p.m. - 2nd Annual Presidential Scholarship Gala
Campus Center Ballroom

The second annual Presidential Scholarship Gala, set in a "Roaring Twenties" theme, serves as a fundraiser for student scholarships through the UWG Foundation.

Dinner followed by dancing. 1920's era attire encouraged.  Please kindly RSVP by September 12.

10:30 a.m. - United Voices Gospel Choir (UVGC) Worship Fellowship at First Baptist Church
First Baptist Church, 563 Old Bremen Road, Carrollton

Choir ministry and worship service through song.  Fellowship with First Baptist Church.  The choir will minister the selections rehearsed on Saturday and conclude the UVGC reunion.
