During the May meeting of the Board of Regents the Board passed policy 184.108.40.206. This policy requires the use of direct deposit for all payroll-related payments. All employees employed prior to July 1, 2011 who are receiving their pay by paper check will be required to enroll in direct deposit.
If you believe that you are unable to participate in this payment method, request an exemption by completing and submitting an exemption request to the Shared Services Center, otherwise the use of a pay card will be required. The deadline for current employees to enroll in direct deposit or apply for an exemption is October 1, 2011. Once enrolled in direct deposit, employees are required to remain enrolled in direct deposit for the remainder of their employment.
To enroll in direct deposit, complete the attached Direct Deposit Authorization form, attach a voided check and bring to Human Resources or mail to the Shared Services Center at address provided on the form.
