Winter Break in Costa Rica
The Economics Department will host a NEW "Winter" study abroad program that will visit "Costa Rica." The program will run from December 11-18, 2011 and students will be enrolled in a Special Topics - "Costa Rica Study Abroad" course which will include an eight (8) day trip during winter break. Participants will visit San Jose, Manuel Antonio National Park (beautiful Pacific Coast beaches) and Poas Volcano. The eight (8) day stay will also include visits to international business firms, talks by university professors, optional rainforest tour with a zipline adventure, and many other attractions.

Spring Break in Barcelona
The Management Department's spring semester Barcelona study abroad program provides undergraduate and graduate students with cultural exposure to global business perspectives in real-world settings. The program will run eight (8) days through spring break and will include visits to international business firms. Students participating in the program will earn class credit for a Special Topics -"Business in Barcelona" course, and will also include visits to talks with university professors. Additional sites on the planned tour include cultural events, and many more.

Summer in London & Paris
The London and Paris summer study abroad program is designed to provide undergraduate and graduate students with a valuable academic and cultural experience. The program runs in summer session III (June). Participants will be enrolled in a Special Topics - "Business in Europe" course which will include a two week trip to London and Paris from June 15th to June 28th. During their two week stay in these two cities students will visit a variety of international business firms and have opportunities for direct interaction with top executives and business professionals - e.g., Coca Cola (London and Paris), Lloyds of London, Carrefour (Paris), Bank of England, Ogilvy (Paris), Interbrand (London), Fullers Brewery (London), etc. Students will also have plenty of opportunities to go sightseeing and enjoy London's and Paris's many cultural experiences, and to make day trips to Stonehedge, Windsor Castle, Oxford University and Versailles).

Spring Break in China
The Marketing & Real Estate Department's spring semester China study abroad program is designed to provide undergraduate and graduate students with a valuable academic and cultural experience. The program runs in spring semester. Participants will be enrolled in a Special Topics - "Business in China" course which will include a 10 day trip to China over spring break. The trip will cover two cities in China - Beijing and Shanghai. The 10 day stay in these two cities will include visits to international business firms and Chinese universities, talks by Chinese University professors and sightseeing tours. Examples of sightseeing tours and businesses visited include-- the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, the Great Wall, Jade Buddha temple, Shanghai University, Beijing steel factory, Shanghai Motors Corp., etc.
