The University of West Georgia will host UWG Research Day 2007 on Tuesday, March 6, and the community is invited to participate in this exciting event.  

Participate in UWG's Research DayResearch Day is an all-day campus celebration of undergraduate research in the areas of the arts, business, education, humanities, science and social science.

Students will compete with each other in their discipline of choice by presenting their research to an interdisciplinary panel of faculty judges.

Winners in each discipline will receive a $250 cash prize and present their research in a grand finale at the Centennial Big Night 2007 celebration on Thursday, April 5.

The schedule for Research Day 2007 is: 

- Fine Arts, 4 -7 p.m., in the Townsend Center for the Performing Arts
- Social Sciences, 4 - 6 p.m., in the Technology-enhanced Learning Center, Room 1203
- Sciences, 12 - 5 p.m., in the Callaway Building, Room 205
- Humanities, 4 - 7 p.m., in the Martha Munro Building, Computer Lab
- Education, 6 p.m., in the Education Center, Room 1
- Richards College of Business, 7 p.m., in Adamson Hall, Room 117
