Students in the Sport Management program have the opportunity to study in an action-oriented curriculum designed to meet the needs of the increasingly competitive sport industry.  Faculty are committed to providing students with market-driven instruction seeking to holistically develop students with the knowledge bases, skills and competencies employers require.

Why should I choose UWG's Sport Management program?

  • A full-time internship allows students to make application of concepts learned in the classes to real world organizational challenges and provides opportunities for the development of industry contacts for networking purposes.

What kind of facilities and equipment will be made available to me?

  • Sport management classes will be held in the new Health & Wellness Center, a 122,500 square foot instructional facility and arena scheduled to open in Spring 2009.  The facility provides large classrooms, seminar rooms, and a 75 person classroom with stadium seating and the latest technology.
