Happy New Year! (12/17/2008)

The University of West Georgia will reopen on Monday, January 5. The university concluded its fall semester with a record enrollment of more than 11,000 undergraduate and graduate students and a commencement ceremony that saw 540 students walk across the stage.

UWG Debate Scores Big (12/15/2008)

The UWG Debate Team finished fall semester with a national ranking of third at Wake Forest University in the fall semester’s last debate competition. With more than 150 teams in competition, Wake Forest's tournament is the largest held in the fall.

Congrats to 540 Grads (12/8/2008)

The University of West Georgia commencement ceremonies will be held in the Campus Center Gymnasium on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 9 a.m., noon and 3 p.m. Approximately 400 undergraduate and 140 graduate students will cross the stage to receive their diploma.

Dr. Sethna Speaks on Mumbai Attacks (12/4/2008)
