Number of unduplicated majors is based on FIRST MAJOR. If a student changed major during the year, the major declared as of the end of a given academic year is reported. Unless a department actively puts restrictions on how/when a student can declare a major and then enforces this policy through student advisors or by monitoring a listing of their majors, IRP reports self-declared majors. The IRP office reports available information on each student's banner file as of the Census Date.
The ratio of Majors/Degrees conferred is the number of declared majors divided by the number of degrees conferred for the same fiscal year.
All enrollment and credit hour information is as of the Board of Regents' specified Census Date for each semester.
