International Services & Programs
International Services & Programs (IS&P) is located in Row Hall, Room 229. We serve international students at the UWG, advise UWG students about study abroad, and support the International Activities of UWG faculty.
For the international student, green card holder or UWG student born in a country other than the USA, the IS&P office offers important services. IS & P provides assistance in cultural adjustment, immigration services, orientation, advisement and study assistance. In addition IS&P houses the active International Student Club (ISC) and the ISC Office.
All UWG students can be advised at the IS&P office for short term and semester study abroad programs that are inexpensive and count in the UWG curriculum. Students are considered on campus when doing UWG approved programs, so they receive all financial aid they are qualified for and can apply for additional study abroad scholarships ($65,000 in 2008/2009). We cannot make anyone study abroad, only give you the possibilities.
IS&P also supports and offers services to international faculty and staff, and current faculty interested in starting or teaching study abroad programs, participating in exchange programs, or doing international faculty development.
