General Email Information
Your email account will likely be set up by your department shortly after you begin working at UWG. Typically, your email user id is made up of your first initial followed by your last name or part of your last name. Your department will provide you with your email user id and initial password.
New email accounts must be requested through ITS. To request a new account, complete the release form below and fax or mail it to ITS.
Basic Email Information
User ID: Your user id is the part of your email address that precedes the "@" sign. This will be provided to you usually by your department.
Password/PIN: Your password must be 12 characters long and meet the following requrements:
- Must include an Uppercase letter, Lowercase letter, Number and Special Character
- May not include three or more consecutive letters from your username
- Must be changed every 365 days
- Cannot be one of your last two passwords
