Assistant Dean of Students
Mission statement:
Support the academic mission of the university by promoting a campus environment that encourages diversity, community, and mutual respect for the rights and property of others.
The Assistant Dean of Students is the chief Judicial Officer for the University. The Assistant Dean of Students adjudicates cases involving violations of the Student Conduct Code and provides leadership and support for the Judicial Coordinators working in Residence Life. The Assistant Dean of Students also serves as chairperson for the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Team (ADAPT), is a key member of the Critical Incident Team, the Sexual Assault Response Team and provides other services related to managing student behavior and improving the campus climate.
