The Department of Mass Communications is pleased to deliver new and exciting student opportunities this year. To begin, we have added Film & Video Production and Digital Media & Telecommunications to our offerings of major concentrations. In addition, we are proud to announce the launch of two experiential learning labs including the new bluestone Student Public Relations Firm and the innovative Convergent Learning Center. Our majors continue to be highly motivated, boasting internships with major local players such as CNN, Creative Loafing, Georgia Public Broadcasting and Chick-Fil-A. Indeed, our interdisciplinary curriculum is forward-looking, preparing in-demand mass media professionals who are well-connected, effective, and technologically saavy.
