The Marketing & Real Estate Department's spring semester China study abroad program is designed to provide undergraduate and graduate students with a valuable academic and cultural experience. The program runs in spring semester. Participants will be enrolled in a Special Topics - "Business in China" course which will include a 11 day trip to China over spring break. The trip will cover two cities in China - Beijing and Shanghai. The 11 day stay in these two cities will include visits to international business firms and Chinese universities, talks by Chinese University professors and sightseeing tours. Examples of sightseeing tours and businesses visited include-- the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, the Great Wall, Summer Palace, Jade Buddha temple, Yuyuan Gardens, Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade, Microsoft China, Kodak China, Shanghai Motors Corp., Yanjing Brewery etc.
THE CHINA PROGRAM WILL NOT BE OFFERED IN SPRING 2015 BUT WILL RESUME IN SPRING 2016. WE ARE OFFERING THE PRAGUE/BUDHAPEST PROGRAM IN SPRING 2015.
