spotlight GremlinsDuo has performed together for four years alone as well as with several different ensembles. In January 2012, We performed and recorded "Four Tempers" with Eric Mandat, which will be featured on his next album (release TBA) and last March, we toured the South from Georgia Southern University up to Eastern Illinois University. Mark Gresham reviewed our Kennesaw State University stop. In August, we will perform at the International Clarinet Association ClarinetFest in Baton Rouge as part of a quartet by John McCowen. We have also studied under the world-renowned Sqwonk Bass Clarinet Duo and legendary extended clarinet composer William O. Smith.

GremlinsDuo musicians are Tim Fitzgerald and Jon Goodman. Jon Goodman was a finalist in the research competition at the 2011 International Clarinet Association conference in Los Angeles and is a professional clarinetist/bass clarinetist/saxophonist and woodwind repair technician in the Southern Illinois area.
Tim Fitzgerald is the Instructor of Woodwinds at Emory University and maintains a successful studio in the Atlanta metro area. GremlinsDuo was founded to promote the 20th and 21st century works already written for clarinet or bass clarinet duo, and to commission new works for duo instrumentations that change within the piece.
