The University of West Georgia Jazz Ensemble Nonet will perform in concert on Friday November 13 at 8:00 PM in Kathy Cashen Recital Hall at the University of West Georgia. The group is comprised of select students from the UWG Jazz Ensemble and they will perform works by Tom Kubis, Paul Lopez, and Richard Rogers. The concert will also include original works by the group’s director Dr. Daniel Bakos. The finale will be The Lady is a Tramp by Richard Rogers, a familiar tune sung by Sinatra, Ella Fiztgerald and Sammy Davis Jr. to name a few. Admission is free and the community is invited to attend.
