Graduate Students

The Department of Music at the University of West Georgia is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music. The Master of Music degree is offered with majors in Music Education and Performance.

Each major consists of a comprehensive curriculum of study designed to meet the needs of both the full-and part-time graduate student. In addition to having evening and summer access to all graduate courses, graduate students enjoy the opportunity to design a unique focus to one-third of their total course work by utilizing the program's 12-credit-hour elective component.

All instruction is delivered by a distinguished artist-teacher faculty with extensive credentials and professional experience. Faculty members have regional, national, and international reputations in performance, teaching, research, and creative activities.
