Freshman, Transfer or Non-Traditional Students starting in the Summer
The Orientation for new students starting in Summer 2013 will be held on May 31, 2013. The program will begin around 8am and run until late in the afternoon.
You can log into your MyUWG account and click on the tab named "Orientation." If registration is available please follow the steps given. Your registration will not be complete until you pay the associated Orientation Registration fee.All students are required to attend Orientation.
Orientation fee: The registration fee for all types of students attending Spring Orientation is $35.All orientation fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Orientation will close 5 days before the program. Walk-ins on the day of the program are welcome. Please bring with you $35 check or cash and your acceptance letter. Only accepted students will be able to participate in orientation and course registration.

Transient, Unclassified, Graduate, or Non-degree seeking Student starting in the Spring
Transient, unclassified and auditor students do not attend orientation. Orientation is reserved specifically for students who will be spending their college careers with us, seeking a degree with us and/or taking classes for credit.
Transient students are those students who are visiting UWG from their home institution for one term only.
Unclassified students are those students who are not seeking a degree during their stay at UWG.
Auditor students are those students who are not taking classes for grade credit.
You are eligible to register for Summer 2012 when Open Registration begins. Please be aware that many of our courses carry pre-requisites and Banweb will prevent you from registering for these courses. In such cases you must register in the Registrar’s Office. International Students
International Orientation is only for students who are studying at UWG on a F1 or J1 visa issued through the University. International students will receive information regarding international orientation with their admissions letter and their I-20 or DS2019. Contact the international student advisor for questions.
