Summer Session Orientation is designed for new students who are first time freshmen, Transfer students, and Non-traditional students, starting classes and/or are moving into a residence hall at UWG in May 2012.  During the 1-day experience, you will have the opportunity to meet members of faculty, meet other incoming students, and learn about university resources.  The program will introduce you to your academic college and with an academic advisor in your area of study.  Upon the completion of the orientation registration questionnaire a dedicated team will develop a pre-made class schedule in which you will receive at check-in.

Orientation Fee

The fee for Summer Session Orientation is $35.00. It covers all materials for the program, lunch in our on-campus dining facility and Orientation logistics.  Your Orientation fee must be paid online at the time of registration.  There are two methods of payment, by Credit Card or Web Check.  Please be mindful that all fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable.  Once payment is received you will be added to your selected Orientation session and a confirmation will be sent to the email address you provided during registration.  

Walk-in's

Students who do not pre-register for Orientation are still welcome to attend.  As a walk-in you will need to bring $35.00 cash or check and your acceptance letter.  Please keep in mind only accepted students will be able to participate in Orientation and course registration.  If you receive an acceptance decision, it is highly encouraged to pre-register for Orientation so that a schedule can be developed for you and your academic college will be prepared to assist you.  Be mindful as a walk-in you will need to allow for extra time assist you throughout the day, nevertheless your 'Go West' experience will set off magnificently.
