Freshman Last Chance Orientation
Residential students will check into their Fall housing assignment on August 15th. Detailed information will be sent via email. Commuter and Residential students will check into the program on August 16th. Below is the tentative schedule for Freshman Last Chance Orientation.
DAY ONE:
1:00-1:45pm ORIENTATION STUDENT CHECK-IN - TLC lobby
ORIENTATION PARENT CHECK-IN- Campus Center
2:00 – 2:55 pm GENERAL WELCOME / EXPECTATIONS - Campus Center Ballroom- Students & Parents
3:00 – 3:50 pm STUDENT SMALL GROUP
PARENT DEAN'S MEETING
4:00 – 5:45 pm STUDENTS: Academics at UWG
PARENTS: Concurrent Sessions in the Campus Center
5:45 – 7:15 pm DINNER –Z6 Dining Hall
Programming will resume at 7:30am with breakfast.
DAY TWO:
7:30 -8:45am BREAKFAST - Z6 Dining Hall
9:00-12:10pm CONCURRANT SESSIONS (Parents and Students follow their color group):
A) Financial Fitness (S&P)—CC 108.2
B) Auxiliary Services(S&P) –CC 108.1
C) My UWG (S)/ Computing at UWG (P)-TLC
D) Schedule Changes or ID's (S)/ Parenting a College Freshman (P)- Locations on Campus
12:15-1:15 LUNCH –Z6
1:30 pm TOUR OF CAMPUS - Students and Parents
2:00-3:30pm FINISH LINE – TLC lobby & Campus Center Ballroom
