Special Advising Days for Students Starting in 2011
Transfer students who have attended a previous institution for at least one or more full academic years must make an appointment for advisement/registration.
Students who have not attended a previous institution for at least one full academic year are not permitted to be advised on one of these special advising days and must register for and attend the transfer orientation program- January 4, 2011. No exceptions. Online registration will be available soon.
Transfer students that have had more than one full academic year at another institution you will schedule an advisement date. Please follow these steps:
1.Below is a list of advisement times and dates specified by college. Look below for your college and major, find your contact person
2.Schedule an appointment with your contact person. They will input you in the system which will notify the Registar's office to evaluate your transcripts.
3.Once you have made your appointment, write it down on your calendar because you will not be sent a reminder.
4. On the day of your appointment you must check in at the Admissions Office in Mandeville Hall located on Front Campus Drive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. When you do this you will have your orientation hold removed, and receive important student materials. Failure to do so could result in your appointment being canceled.
IMPORTANT!!! ALL STUDENTS ADVISED AND REGISTERED ON or BEFORE DECEMBER 3,2010 will be required to PAY ALL FEES BY DECEMBER 3, 2010. NONPAYMENT COULD RESULT IN YOUR SCHEDULE BEING DROPPED!
