Officer Brandon White, originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, joined the University of West Georgia Police Department in December of 2014.  He graduated from UWG in 2013 with a BS in Criminology.  While at UWG Brandon played four years of football at the position of Left Tackle, and he was awarded the 2013 University of West Georgia Men’s Outstanding Career Achievement Award.  After graduation, Brandon worked at Kids Peace in Bowdon, Georgia.  There he provided intensive supervision and direction to emotionally and behaviorally challenged adolescents in a compassionate and respectful manor.  Brandon enjoys fishing and working out in his spare time.

Brandon completed his police mandate training at North Central Georgia Law Enforcement Academy in March of 2015, and is excited to start his new career with the University of West Georgia Police Department.  Brandon looks forward to serving this community by bridging the gap between UPD and student athletes.  His understanding of collegiate sports gives him a strong foundation for being a point of contact for students participating in athletic programs at UWG.  We are pleased to welcome Officer Brandon White to the UWG family.
