Pre-Law Course Requirements
Pre-law students should:
- Include in their major courses:
- POLS 3301 (Judicial Process: pre-requisite for POLS 4301 & 4302: usually offered in the Spring Semester)
- POLS 4301 (Constitutional Law I)
- POLS 4302 (Constitutional Law II)
- Take POLS 4603 (American Political Thought) or POLS 4602 (Modern Political Thought) as the theory requirement in the major.
- Include in their electives:
- PHIL 2110 (Critical Thinking)
- ACCT 2101 (Principles of Accounting I)
- ECON 2105 (Principles of Macroeconomics)
- ENGL 3200 (Creative Writing) or ENGL 3400 (Creative Nonfiction)
