Dr. Sooho Lee
Dr. Lee teaches in the MPA program.
Dr. Lee received his Ph.D. in Public Policy at Georgia Tech. His research interests include outsourcing in the public sector, local & state government finance, and science & technology policy. He has been involved in several outsourcing projects that Georgia state government funded, and in science & technology policy projects that were funded by various public and private sources. He has presented and published outsourcing research papers in public policy conferences and journals. His current research projects focus on management capacity change in the outsourcing process in public agencies, and on research collaboration and scientific productivity of scientists and scientific organizations. Recently, his paper "The impact of research collaboration on scientific productivity" (with Barry Bozeman) was published in Social Studies of Science, and his paper “Determinants of public support for education sales tax initiatives in Georgia” (with Robert Sanders) was accepted in the Journal of Education Finance (forthcoming).
