Presidential Search
The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia has begun the search for a new president of the University of West Georgia and has engaged Parker Executive Search to assist in the recruiting effort. The UWG Campus Search Committee met with the search firm on October 5, 2012 to discuss the search process, position requirements, and timing for this exciting endeavor.
This is a historic opportunity for UWG and the Carrollton community. The UWG campus has experienced monumental growth under the leadership of President Beheruz N. Sethna during the past 18 years and we look forward to the next generation of progressive leadership.
Update: The search committee is meeting on Monday, March 4 to decide on the candidates to recommend to the Board of Regents. Our decision making process will include feedback from faculty, staff, administrative leaders students, and community constituents. Thank you for your support and participation in this most important event in UWG’s history.
