Candidate identification will proceed through advertising, nominations/recommendations, and direct recruiting by the PSSC and PES to identify qualified candidates interested in this position. |
| Jan. 18, 2013 | The PSSC will be provided with ALL resumes and nominations submitted for consideration to date online. |
| Jan. 25, 2013 | Search Chair Rice and the PSSC may identify 10 (more or less) candidates to schedule for interviews. |
| Week of Feb. 4, 2013 | Search Chair Rice and the PSSC may conduct initial interviews of 10 (more or less) candidates. |
| Feb. 15, 2013 | Search Chair Rice and the PSSC may select 5-7 candidates for on-campus interviews. |
| Weeks of Feb. 18 and/or Feb. 25, 2013 (as needed) | The final 5-7 candidates may be scheduled for on-campus interviews. |

Search Chair Rice and the PSSC present 3-5 unranked candidates to Chancellor Huckaby, Regents Tarbutton, Bernard, Potts, Ellis, and Pruitt. |

Chancellor Huckaby and the Board of Regents may conduct interviews of the final candidates, including campus site visits on select candidates (if desired) Release of Names to ensure 5 days Public Notice |
| Early April 2013 | An offer may be extended to the selected candidate. |
