What's New at P&P

 Large Format Wall Art

Self-stick wall art adheres well to smooth, clean walls, glass, metal, doors, sanded wood (without lacquer), and most painted surfaces. It is:
    Repositionable
Not harmful to walls or glass
However, it doesn't adhere well to all surfaces. If in doubt, test a small sample first. UCM and P&P will provide free samples.

 Book Binding

Soft covers (called perfect binding) and hard covers (called case binding) printed with full color, full bleed coverage. Clear plastic covers to reveal the cover page, peep-hole covers to reveal a part of the cover page, and more. Samples of our book bindery are on display in the lobby.

 Magnets

Custom magnets can be created at Pub & Print using your design or photo, or one of the existing UWG logo formats. Magnets can be square or rectangular, quickest to produce, or can be die cut to produce a special shape.

 Large Format Posters

From 40" tall by any length. Lamination included. Can be mounted
on foam core for rigid handling, convenient for larger posters.

One of the first large format projects was this representation of the September '10 check from Newnan Hospital, donating $2 million to the School of Nursing at the Newnan Center.(Photo used with permission)

Copies While You Wait

Bring in your USB drive or e-mail your files to be printed. The two most frequent hold-ups are graphics created in too low a resoution to enlarge and print well; and files without a paper size designated, so that the production printer can't interpret what is wanted.

Using the new student computer in the P&P lobby, sophomore J.D Noble prepares to print an SGA homecoming poster she designed. Assistance with file preparation is available from any of the P&P staff.

Donna Martin and Brooke Keener feed a UWG banner through the large laminator, recently relocated to P&P from Learning Resources.

Laminating

Not just for posters. Bring your newspaper articles, award certificates, photographs, or copies you want to preserve. We've laminated bookmarks, price lists, announcements for posting, and student art (drawings).

Print directly onto CDs and DVDs

Choose your design and colors from the style book, then supply your title and text for a personalized, printed CD or DVD; or design your own.

At right are some standard versions. Dozens of styles, fonts, and colors are available from which to choose. Many students design their own formats and bring their files to P&P for printing.
