Transcript Requests
Transcript requests are processed by the Enrollment Services Center and are available through the following ordering methods:
MyUWG | BanWeb (Former Students)
In-Person | Clearinghouse
The Enrollment Services Center is located in Parker Hall and is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. They may be contacted at enroll@westga.edu or by calling 678.839.6421.
MyUWG Online Transcript Order Entry for Currently Enrolled Students
For currently enrolled students, transcript may be ordered online by accessing the BanWeb tab within your MyUWG account.
If you have forgotten your password, simply click on "Lost your password," and this will allow you to reset your pin within the hour.
To order your transcript through MyUWG, login and click on the BanWeb tab at the top of your account. Then, select the "Student Services & Financial Aid" link. You can find the "Request Official Transcript" link at the bottom of the menu list or under the "Student Records" link. Read the transcript ordering details and each step carefully. The site will walk you through placing your request! Please note that orders marked as "Pick Up" will only be held for four weeks. If you do not pick up your request within four weeks, you will need to place a new request.
BanWeb Online Transcript Order Entry for Former Students
Transcripts may be ordered directly through BanWeb by students which have graduated or students that have been in attendance since 1998. If you attended prior to 1998, use the Clearinghouse method.
If you do not remember your BanWeb login information or if you want to verify if BanWeb order entry is a possibility for you, simply click on "Forgotten Your PIN?" under the Public Access options. This will allow you to reset your PIN using your social security number.
To order your transcript through BanWeb, click on the Login option. Enter your Student ID or Social Security Number, and then, enter your PIN. If your PIN has been reset, it will default to the last two digits of your birth year and the last four digits of your social. It may take up to one hour for your PIN to reset. Once logged into BanWeb, select the "Student Services & Financial Aid" link. You can find the "Request Official Transcript" link at the bottom of the menu list or under the "Student Records" link. Read the transcript ordering details and each step carefully. The site will walk you through placing your request! Please note that orders marked as "Pick Up" will only be held for four weeks. If you do not pick up your request within four weeks, you will need to place a new request.
Ordering Transcripts in Person
Transcripts may be ordered in person at the Enrollment Services Center. Transcripts are free of charge for normal processing and are ready for pick-up or mailed via USPS in 5 business days. There is a limit of 5 transcripts per day.
Pick-up is made in person. You will need to bring a photo id and place your order on BanWeb, or if you attended prior to 1998, you will need to fill out a request form. Please note that orders marked as "Pick Up" will only be held for four weeks. If you do not pick up your request within four weeks, you will need to place a new request.
You may receive Same-Day or "Rush" transcript service in the Enrollment Services Center between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. for a fee of $10.00 per copy. The fee(s) are paid at the Cashiers window in Aycock Hall (before 4:30). Same-Day transcripts can only be issued and addressed to the requesting student.
Ordering Clearinghouse Online Transcripts
If BanWeb is not an option for you, then your transcript may be ordered on the National Student Clearinghouse. To order an official transcript(s), login to the Clearinghouse secure site. (Be sure to use this link to be directed to the proper UWG transcript page.)
The site will walk you through placing your order, including delivery options, consent form and fees. You can order up to 5 transcripts a day. A $2.25 processing fee will be charged per recipient. You may order transcripts using any major credit card. Your card will only be charged after your order has been completed.
Your signed consent form is required to fulfill your transcript order. For your convenience, a consent form will be generated for your order.
Order updates will be e-mailed to you. After you create your user profile on the Clearinghouse site, you may also check your order status or history online.
If you select the processing option of ‘Now’, your transcript will be ready for pick-up in 5 business days after your order is received in the Registrar’s Office or it can be mailed to recipient via regular 1st class US mail after 5 business days. We do not offer overnight, express, or fax delivery. Please note that orders marked as "Pick Up" will only be held for four weeks. If you do not pick up your request within four weeks, you will need to place a new request.
If you select the processing option of AFTER ‘Grade(s) is Changed’, transcript processing will depend upon receipt of approved grade change. If you select the processing option of AFTER ‘Grades are Posted’ or AFTER ‘Degree is Awarded’, your transcript will be sent or ready for pick-up 5-7 business days after the last day of exams (for Summer Semester, transcripts will be sent or ready 5-7 business days after Summer Semester graduation).
