Address Changes 
Students are required to notify the Enrollment Services Center of all address changes.  Changes can be made on Banweb or by completing an address change form in the Enrollment Services Center.

Disclosure of Directory Information 
University of West Georgia can release directory information such as name, address and telephone number unless the student completes a Nondisclosure form requesting that such information be withheld.  Contact the Enrollment Services Center for details. Requests must be made and renewed annually by Sept. 15.

ID Cards 
Student ID cards are made in the Wolves Card Office located in the University Community Center (UCC), Top Floor, from 8 am until 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

Student Email Policy 
University of West Georgia students are provided a MyUWG e-mail account. The University considers this account to be an official means of communication between the University and the student. The purpose of the official use of the student e-mail account is to provide an effective means of communicating important university related information to UWG students in a timely manner. It is the student’s responsibility to check his or her email.

Enrollment Status - Fall or Spring Semesters 
Undergraduates
9-11 hours are three-quarter time
6-8 hours are half-time

Graduates
7-8 hours are three-quarter time
5-6 hours are half-time

Enrollment Status - Summer Semester 
Undergraduates
7-8 hours are three-quarter time
5-6 hours are half-time

Graduates
6 hours is full time
5 hours is three-quarter time
3-4 hours is half-time
Less than 3 hours is less than half-time 

Financial Aid - Fall or Spring Semesters
Undergraduate students must enroll in a minimum of 6 hours to receive student loans; Pell Grant and Hope Scholarship amounts will adjust to the hours enrolled (fulltime is not required).

Graduate students must be enrolled at least half time in order to receive financial aid. Half time is 5 hours for regular graduate students and 6 hours for provisional and certification graduate students.

Financial Aid - Summer Semester
Undergraduate students must enroll in a minimum of 6 hours to receive student loans.  Fulltime for federal aid is 12 or more hours; Pell Grant and Hope Scholarship amounts will adjust to the hours enrolled (fulltime is not required).
