Certification of Enrollment
A Certification of Enrollment can be requested by either submitting a request form, ordering online at the National Student Clearinghouse, or by requesting authorization of a third party certification form in the Registrar's Office. Enrollment Verifications may be requested for a specific semester or for a total enrollment history, and processing usually occurs within 5 business days.
Loan verifications should be handled through the National Student Clearinghouse by the loan company. The third party company may contact them at http://www.studentclearinghouse.org/ or call 703-742-4200. The University of West Georgia has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to act as our agent for providing enrollment verifications for insurance purposes, student loans, future employment, military IDs, etc. This service is available 24/7/365 to current students and those enrolled in the last six semesters.
Degree Verifications
Degree Verifications certify all earned degree(s) and the date(s) the degree(s) were awarded. The University of West Georgia has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to act as our agent to provide degree verifications to third parties. Third parties must use the Clearinghouse.
