Unpack the Pack
What is Unpack the Pack?
Unpack the Pack is a volunteer program which encompasses volunteers from the Carrollton community and student organizations at West Georgia. Move-in day can be stressful for new students and their families, but our volunteers strive to make the transition as smooth as possible. Unpack the Pack volunteers exemplify the strong community that new students can look forward to joining at West Georgia. Unpack the Pack volunteers make a great first impression on our incoming students and their families.
What can I expect as an Unpack the Pack Volunteer?
Unpack the Pack volunteers have several responsibilities that keep move-in day running smoothly. The most important responsibility is greeting students and their families as they come onto campus. Volunteers should be friendly, energetic, and willing to answer questions of incoming students. Volunteers will also help students move their belongings into residence halls, direct traffic, help with transportation, pick up and drop off ice and water, and assist staff members with other move-in day responsibilities.
