The ARC - Academic Resource Center

                                                              

The Academic Resource Center (ARC) is now open! The center will be open from Sunday - Wednesday, 7pm to 1am. EXCEL center tutors are available from 8-10pm. The center will aid and assist students to reach scholastic excellence by providing a study space/lounge area for students to use after hours. In addition, the center will be a referral site for students to get additional help as needed. We will have prize drawings, incentives and small refreshments for those that utilize the center. Current Events:

1) Tuesday, February 26th, 2013 @7pm – The writing center will be at the ARC conducting a writing workshop. They will cover common writing mistakes and stay till 9pm to help students with papers or answer questions.

2) Monday, March 4th, 2013 @7pm  – Lizz butts (Health Services) will be at the ARC conducting a stress and management workshop. They will cover how to balance academics and personal life.

3) Tuesday, March 5th, 2013 @7pm  – The writing center will be at the ARC conducting a citation workshop. They will cover how to do research and properly cite sources (MLA, APA, and Chicago style) and stay till 9pm to help students with papers or answer questions.
