Center Pointe Suites
Living west is more than finding a place to park your stuff. It’s about living your life as a part of the UWG campus and the community around you. We want your live west experience to be truly amazing. That’s why the housing and residence life staff plans special events, social and recreational opportunities, and academic support programs. It’s also why we’re building an all-new, 600-bed residence complex. It opened in fall 2012 and is available to first-time students. Features include:
- Comfortable single and double rooms with private and semi-private bathrooms, oversized wardrobes and movable furniture. Accessible rooms are also available.
- A patio with gas-fired grill
- Grassy outdoor areas for study or fun
- A TV lounge, glass-enclosed study overlook, large study rooms for 30-40 people
- An event and teaching space with catering kitchen
- Central location that offers easy access to dining, academic buildings and campus transportation
Like all UWG residence halls, the new buildings will offer card-controlled access, free extended basic cable, one Ethernet port per student, laundry rooms and other amenities.
We are pleased to inform you that www.collegeproducts.com/uwg will be offering a Micro-Fridge unit that will be available for rent to all Center Pointe Suites residents for the upcoming 2013-2014 Academic Year. College Products will deliver the unit directly to your room next month to ensure the system is working and ready to be utilized immediately. You will be receiving detailed information about the Micro-Fridge rental program to your permanent mailing address within the next few weeks but please feel free to visit the vendor's website to view their product or place an order.
Please note, you will not be permitted to bring your own microwave or fridge into Center Pointe Suites at any time. You will only be permitted to rent the Micro-Fridge through Collegeproducts.com.
