Residential Peer Mentoring
Already thinking about all the hard work necessary to get or keep the HOPE scholarship and graduate on time? Then rev up your academic habits by joining the Residential Peer Mentoring Community! Live in a co-ed community of first-year students committed to a successful freshman year experience. In the residential peer mentoring community, you’ll develop the academic and personal habits necessary for a smooth transition to college work and life and have easy access to tutors right in your own hall! One on one with a peer mentor and in small groups, you’ll participate in goal setting, academic skills programming and social activities.

Can I live in this LLC with someone who is not participating in the program?
Sorry, but no. All students living in Bowdon Hall must participate in the RPM community.
Are there required courses?
Yes. Students in the community must take RLIF 0099 each semester. RLIF 0099 is a zero-credit hour course designed so that your small group and mentor meetings are integrated into your academic schedule.
To whom is the community open?
The RPM community is for first-year students only.
Is there a fee for the community?
Yes, RPM participants are required to pay a $20 special interest housing fee each semester to fund specialized community features.
