Residential Peer Mentoring

Description

The Residential Peer Mentoring (RPM) program guides first-year students in the development and fulfillment of personal and academic goals that will help them grow into responsible citizens of the UWG campus community.  RPM provides first-year on campus residents with access to certified tutors and academic skills workshops within their assigned residence halls. Students enrolled in RPM are also paired with a peer mentor who conducts periodic one-on-one progress meetings.  Mid-term grade checks are completed for students enrolled in RPM, and students are directed to appropriate resources as needed.

Which Housing?

Residential Peer Mentoring is available in all traditional freshman facilities and in Arbor View Apartments Building A.

If you're commuting from home, you are not eligible for RPM, but you may join any of our other mentor-based programs.
