Eui Suk Kim did his undergraduate work at Korea University, where he majored in Spanish and Hispanic Literature. He received M.A degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogotá, Colombia) and Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. He taught at Eastern Kentucky University and joined the Univeristy of West Georgia in 2004. His research interests include Latin American Contemporary Literature as well as psychoanalysis and literary theories. Eui Suk has published a book Una reconstrucción alternativa del pretérito and scholarly articles about Chilean writers.
