Biography

Dr. Catherine A. Jenks received her Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the Florida State University in 2006. Prior to joining the faculty at the University of West Georgia, she worked at the RAND Corporation in Santa Monica, California as a survey coordinator. Dr. Jenks currently serves as the Director of the Survey Research Center and the Center for the Study of Crime and Social Justice. Her teaching and research interests include law and society, criminal courts, sentencing and punishment, public opinion, and survey research.
