Biography

One of the great joys of teaching media production is to be a firsthand witness as students discover their own capacities and aptitudes within the many roles of a production unit - as the field offers niches for every personality type and skill set. What I value most about the cultures of both film set and classroom is that, in both cases, each person brings something crucial to the process. Both are collaborative endeavors that share and thrive upon this affinity. I am fortunate to have joined the UWG community in 2012, particularly the expanding Department of Mass Communications, am inspired daily by the level of commitment and energy shown by our students, faculty and staff, and am excited by a future that holds the promise of cross-campus collaboration and community.
