Dr. Alicia Caudill is the Associate Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Students. She began at the University of West Georgia in March 2013 and is responsible for coordination of student life initiatives, programs, and support at the university.
Dr. Caudill has over 15 years of experience in Student Affairs and Higher Education. Prior to coming to UWG she served for over ten years at Gainesville State College (now the University of North Georgia) first as the Director of Student Activities and then as the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students. She has also served in First-Year Experience and Academic Advising at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia and in Student Affairs at Lambuth University in Jackson, Tennessee.
Dr. Caudill earned her Ph.D. in College Student Affairs Administration from the University of Georgia in 2007. She earned a Master of Education in Student Personnel Services from the University of South Carolina, and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Otterbein University in Ohio.
