    Job Responsibilities:
    Shares responsibility for the overall management of University Recreation including direct oversight of the following areas: Outdoor Recreation, Club Sports, Fitness/Wellness, Intramural Sports, and Special Events. Supervises, evaluates, and works closely with three professional team members: Assistant Director of Fitness/Wellness, Assistant Director of Competitive Sports, Coordinator of Outdoor Recreation to offer a diverse, high-quality, comprehensive menu of recreational programs to the University community. Serves as liaison to all regional and national sport governing bodies for each Club Sport team. Develops annual goals, learning outcomes and appropriate
    assessment tools, and a calendar of events/programs designed to maximize participation, learning, and engagement in each specific UREC program. In conjunction with professional staff, develops effective and efficient operating policies, procedures, and protocols for each program area. Works collaboratively with other University entities such as Legal and Risk Management to create and ensure comprehensive risk management procedures for all program areas.
