Current Projects and Events
The ENACTUS team is working on several projects for the 2012-2013 academic year:
This ENACTUS project will involve working with Keep Carroll Beautiful and TerraCycle to beautify Carrollton. The ENACTUS team will be in communication with city and county officials and other business leaders to designate a road of commercial interest. The goal of the Adopt-A-Road project is to not only make Carroll County a better place to live by making it litter-free, but to also make it a more attractive location for businesses.

Defining Youth Purpose
For the 2012-2013 school year, the ENACTUS team will partner with the Carrollton Housing Authority and work with students who may be “at risk” for performing below the standards needed to successfully graduate and find meaningful opportunities after high school. The proposed programming consists of first understanding the personal needs of the identified students, then developing different types of programs according to the need. Our goal is to create an experience that would encourage students to improve their performance so they will be aligned with the requirements of their high schools to successfully graduate and equipped for potential career and/or educational options after high school.

ENACTUS will also be partnering with an orphanage in India to help increase the level of literacy of the students it serves. In order to accomplish this, we will organize book drives and gather school supplies. The goal is to help improve the standard of living for an international community, and positively impact their way of life.

College to Career Workshops
This project will provide participants with valuable training in business etiquette, knowledge, and experience that will complement their course studies and accelerate their career preparedness. Designed to include knowledge and training outside of course material, but essential to the workplace, this program will give students the competitive edge needed to thrive in today's evolving workforce.
