Master of Arts in Criminology

The Department of Sociology and Criminology at the University of West Georgia is pleased to announce that it now offers a Masters of Arts in Criminology.  The Masters of Arts in Criminology is the only degree of its kind in the state.  Although several other universities in Georgia have a Masters program, these programs are geared towards criminal justice which is a subfield of criminology.

The program is offered at two campuses: University of West Georgia at Carrollton and Newnan.  It offers two distinct tracks including the criminal justice administration track and the crime and social justice track.  Each track prepares any student for a successful career in criminal justice or other related fields.
