How to Schedule an Appointment at The Student Development Center
Academic & Personal Counseling:
- Call 678-839-6428 to make an appointment.
- For your first appt. arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill out paper work. Or you may click here and print a copy of our Intake paper work, fill out, and bring with you.

Career Counseling:
- Call the Student Development Center at 678-839-6428 to make a career counseling appointment.
- Fall 2009 we are proud to announce the new reduced fee for the career package is $25.00 for students. This fee covers the online administration and scoring of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Strong Interest Inventory. Students will pay online with credit card or electronic check prior to taking the online instruments.
- After you have completed the instruments, call and make two career counseling appointments. In these sessions you will receive the results of your career inventories and discuss them in relation to your values and goals.

Disability Services:
- Call the Student Development Center at 678-839-6428 and ask for an appointment with a Disability Coordinator. Appointments are required.

Students with previously documented disabilities:
- Incoming students with a disability must make an appointment to see a Coordinator during the semester before you plan to attend. This will enable you to register for classes in advance. Bring all disability documentation with you.
- Bring your diagnostic paperwork to the appointment. This paperwork must be documentation on official letterhead from the professional that determined that you had a disability. -
Students who need disability assessment or documentation:
- If you suspect you may have a learning disability or simply are not sure what the problem could be, make an appointment with a Disability Coordinator. You can discuss options for assessment, accommodations and services with the coordinator.
- Students requiring ADD screening need to request an “ADD screening appointment. ” These appointments are limited; therefore your appointment will be scheduled in the order in which it was received.
