At the Counseling & Career Development Center, , you no longer have to wait several weeks in advance to have a program for your class or student group. You have options. You can get a program 2 weeks away thanks to Programs On Demand (POD) or you can have a customized program later with Programs on Request (POR). Click here for details on POD and POR.

Programs on Demand (POD): A series of 30-minute programs, brought to classrooms, residence halls or student groups within 2 weeks of request. POD presentations address six specific topics related to academic, career and relationship concerns.
Programs on Request (POR): Programs On Request (POR) cover a wide range of areas, customized to fit your requirements (i.e., requested program length and topics). SDC asks that you submit a request at least a month ahead of time.
POR program topic areas include: academic survival, career development, multicultural awareness and wellness..

If you are requesting a POR presentation, please provide details here of the type of requested program.
Here you will be able to provide your preferred presentation dates. Please select at least two dates for your POD or POR presentation to ensure that a presenter is available to you.
Please note that POD programs should be requested at least 2 weeks in advance and POR programs require a month advanced scheduling period.

This page will finalize your request and submit to the Counseling & Career Development Center staff. The following page will act as a confirmation that we have received your request. If you have questions or concerns, please email us at programs@westga.edu. Once your program is scheduled, you will receive confirmation from this email.
As a reminder, it is your responsibility as the organizer of this program to provide a projector to allow the counselor to display the program from a flash drive containing a Power Point presentation. If you need equipment contact: Classroom Support & Multimedia Services at extension: 9-6459.
