• Blackboard will be ceasing support for Wimba Classroom. With this news, Wimba Classroom will be phased out and replaced by Blackboard Collaborate starting in the fall of 2014. Similar to our current Wimba system, Collaborate is integrated into CourseDen and can be accessed easily using the Quicklink option and selecting “External Learning Tools” and "Blackboard Collaborate."
If you are currently using Wimba classroom, or if you need access to any of your past Wimba archives, it will be necessary to download any mp3 and/or mp4 files by July 31st. This can be done by accessing your Wimba Classroom area inside CourseDen and clicking on the file or files needed.
Once the files are downloaded, the MP4’s can be easily uploaded to YouTube for use in any of your online classes. Please contact the UWG|Online help desk at 9-6248 or email@example.com if you have any questions.

• ADP Manager Training will be held on July 29 at 2 pm in Row Hall room 319. This course is for both bi-weekly and monthly employees (faculty and staff) who supervise and approve another employee's (full-time, student, casual labor, etc.) timecard. This course will instruct participants on how to enter their own hours worked or exception time into the ADP eTime system. It will also provide instruction on how to approve another employee's timecard. Participants of this course should be the supervisor of at least one other employee. • Did you know that we have a new tool that will be replacing Wimba Classroom? Blackboard Collaborate is now integrated into CourseDen (D2L). This upgraded virtual space provides mobile and wireless access to allow your students to communicate with you. During this 90-minute session, we will explore BlackBoard Collaborate and how you can use this tool to create Virtual Office Hours or a synchronous classroom space for your Online or Technology-Enhanced course, which can serve as a great backup for those ‘unexpected’ disasters that can occur!
