Effective Communication Skills in the Workplace Training


• Don't miss Lifetime Television's the Balancing Act Thursday morning at 7 a.m. Drs. Marrero and Crafton will be featured as they highlight UWG's online learning programs. It will air a second time on Thursday August 7, again at 7 a.m.

• The Bursar’s Office and Cashiers Office will be closed Thursday, July 31 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. for training. If anyone needs to bring petty cash transactions in after 2 p.m., they will be happy to accommodate you.

 Need some Travel Tips & Tricks? Training will be held on July 31 at 9 a.m. in Row Hall 319. Bring your cup of coffee and join Tricia Durrough and the Center for Business Excellence for “The Training Coffee Hour.” This short session will focus on tips and tricks when using the PeopleSoft Travel Expense system. This session is targeted towards individuals who already know how to use PeopleSoft for data entry of travel expense reports but need some advanced training on all it has to offer. • Effective Communication Skills in the Workplace Training on Newnan Campus. On Friday, August 15, Dr. Susan Hall, will instruct participants on effective communication skills both through the development of email and interpersonal interactions, and inspire and motivate them to develop their leadership skills and be a better employee and team player. 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (1 hour lunch break).
