Special Events
The Office of University Communications and Marketing coordinates university-wide special events such as commencement ceremonies, groundbreakings, building dedications, etc. As stated in the book, Etiquette and Protocol: A Guide for Campus Events, this office is responsible for “putting the institution’s best foot forward on public occasions.”
Our staff will be happy to advise and assist departments with other events as requested. To help plan a successful event, a checklist has been developed for departmental use.
