On April 5 UWG will be holding its annual Relay For Life event at the Coliseum. The part of this event that moves us the most is the Luminaria Ceremony. As the light dims over campsites and our team completes laps, the night is brightened by the glow of luminaria. Each of these paper bags contains a light that has a special meaning. Some luminaria celebrate people who won their battle against cancer, many commemorate the lives of those lost to this disease and all represent a person who has been profoundly affected by cancer and the family and friends who continue to be. Luminaria are currently on sale for $10 (white) and $20 (purple).

Will you help spread the light of hope? Use the link at the bottom to honor or remember a loved one today or you can fill out the paper form and return it to Ms. Alex Young in Computer Science.

Online form or Paper form.
