Announcements:
• Free Skin Cancer Screening today from 11:30 am-1 pm, in the TLC Atrium with Dr. David Schoenfeld, MD, with Dermatologists Specialists of West Georgia. This opportunity is available for students, faculty and staff.
• In March, Counseling & Career Development Center (CCD) will have outreach events focused on the area of healthy activities, in particular stress and anxiety management activities. Next week, CCD will have two stress management events in collaboration with UWG Health & Safety Week. These events are open to students, faculty and staff. Event details are below:
“Biofeedback on the Brain” (biofeedback demonstration in collaboration with UWG Health and Safety Week)
When: March 12, 11 am-1 pm
Where: Outside UCC/Library by Starbucks in case of inclement weather
“Mid-Day Yoga” (in collaboration with UWG Health and Safety Week)
When: March 13, 12-1 pm
Where: Campus Center

Events:
• Please join us for a very exciting student recital tonight at 7:30 pm, in Kathy Cashen Recital Hall. Aaron Worley will perform his original compositions on the piano. Admission is free.
• The music department has another treat in store. Sunday, March 10, at 5 pm. Luther Harris will perform on his trombone. This promises to be a wonderful evening of musical entertainment. Kathy Cashen Recital Hall, admission is free.
• And yet another student recital on Sunday, at 7:30 pm. Cortney Jackson, talented flutist and composer, will perform with saxophonist extraordinaire and composer Matt Marshall in an exciting evening of original student compositions. Kathy Cashen Recital Hall, admission is free.
• The UWG Jazz Ensemble will perform under the direction of Daniel Bakos on Tuesday, March 12, at 8:15 pm in the Townsend Center. Please join us for this fabulous evening of jazz favorites. Admission is free.
Training:
• ADP Manager Training will be held on March 12, at 9 am, in Row Hall room 319. This course is for both bi-weekly and monthly employees (faculty and staff) who supervise and approve another employee's (full-time, student, casual labor, etc.) timecard. This course will instruct participants on how to enter their own hours worked or exception time into the ADP eTime system. It will also provide instruction on how to approve another employee's timecard. Participants of this course should be the supervisor of at least one other employee.
